Requires for-profit post-secondary educational institutions (accredited and non-accredited) registered in Hawaii to disclose their for-profit status in all catalogs, promotional materials, electronic media, signage, and instructional contracts.

Disclosure of for-profit status must appear in type size as large or larger than any other text in materials, excluding the institution's name.

For advertisements in unaffiliated periodicals, for-profit institutions must disclose their for-profit business status.

Amends Chapter 305J and Section 446E-2 of Hawaii Revised Statutes to add disclosure requirements for for-profit entities and clarifies disclosure obligations for unaccredited institutions.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
