HI HB1511

Authorizes the Hawaii Department of Health to charge and collect licensure, relicensure, certification, and recertification fees for eight categories of community-based care facilities and case managers.

Establishes fee authority for adult residential care homes, expanded adult residential care homes, developmental disabilities domiciliary homes, community care foster family homes, adult day care centers, adult foster homes for developmentally disabled individuals, other homes specified in section 346-53, and case managers overseeing these facilities.

Requires all collected fees to be deposited into the general fund to support the licensing and certification operations of these facilities.

Empowers the Department of Health to adopt administrative rules under chapter 91 to implement the fee collection program.

Effective date is July 1, 2017.
