H.B. 1726 Summary

• Appropriates funds for fiscal biennium 2017-2019 to fund collective bargaining cost items negotiated with the exclusive bargaining representatives of collective bargaining unit (14)

• Appropriates additional funds for salary increases and other cost adjustments for excluded state officers and employees in the executive branch who are in the same compensation plans as collective bargaining unit (14) members

• Director of Finance shall allot appropriated funds to appropriate state departments for expenditure in respective fiscal years

• Salary increases and cost adjustments for employees paid from federal, special, or other funds shall be paid wholly or proportionately from those respective funds

• Any unexpended or unencumbered funds as of June 30, 2018, and June 30, 2019, shall lapse on those dates
