Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 92F-12 to require public disclosure of salary ranges for legislative employees in $15,000 increments rather than exact compensation amounts.

Defines "legislative employees" to include legislative officers under section 88-21, legislative branch staff, legislative service agency directors under section 21E-1, and officers and employees of legislative service agencies.

Maintains existing public inspection requirements for government information including bid results, land records, environmental test results, payroll records, contract information, and employee rosters.

Excludes social security numbers and home addresses from disclosure in certified payroll records and contract hire information.

Takes effect upon approval.
