Allows prescription, dispensing, possession, and use of FDA-approved prescription drugs containing cannabidiol in Hawaii upon federal Food and Drug Administration approval of such drugs.

Permits licensed health care providers to prescribe FDA-approved cannabidiol prescription drugs within their authorized scope of practice.

Permits pharmacists and licensed health care providers to dispense FDA-approved cannabidiol prescription drugs pursuant to valid prescriptions.

Requires the Hawaii Department of Health to amend its rules to conform to the requirements of this Act once the FDA approves cannabidiol prescription drugs.

Does not restrict or alter access to medical cannabis currently authorized under Hawaii state law.
