Exempts audiologists licensed under chapter 468E, Hawaii Revised Statutes, from the licensing requirements for hearing aid dealers and fitters under chapter 451A.

Clarifies that chapter 451A does not apply to persons licensed as audiologists, adding audiologists to the list of exempted professions that includes physicians.

Recognizes that audiologist licensing requirements are more stringent than hearing aid dealer and fitter requirements, making dual licensure redundant and burdensome.

Amends section 451A-2 to reorganize licensing requirements into subsections and amends section 451A-18 to add the audiologist exemption.

Takes effect upon approval.
