Department of Land and Natural Resources shall lease fast lands and submerged lands at Ala Wai boat harbor through a request for proposals process for public-private development, management, and operation.

Permissible uses include office space for the division of boating and ocean recreation (maximum 45 feet in height) and vehicular parking for both departmental and public metered use.

Commercial uses allowed include restaurants, retail stores, marine-supplies stores, and sundry stores (maximum 15 feet in height).

Hotel, residential, timeshare, training facilities for ocean recreation, vessel haul-out and repair facilities (maximum 45 feet), and deep seawater air-conditioning plants (maximum 15 feet) are permitted uses.

Effective date is July 1, 2050.
