Authorizes terminally ill adults in Hawaii with decision-making capacity to request a prescription for aid in dying medication from their attending physician to facilitate a peaceful death.

Defines "terminally ill" as a final stage incurable or irreversible medical condition that will result in death within six months according to reasonable medical judgment.

Prohibits healthcare providers from misleading patients about the availability of medical aid in dying and requires providers unable or unwilling to comply with requests to transfer the patient's care and records to another provider.

Protects healthcare providers and individuals from civil or criminal liability when participating in good faith compliance with the act, and establishes that aid in dying does not constitute suicide, assisted suicide, or homicide.

Makes it a class felony to coerce or exert undue influence on an individual to request aid in dying medication or to conceal a rescission of such a request.
