• Prohibits charter schools from paying teacher incentive bonuses and other compensation beyond regular wages from facilities funding or per-pupil allocations.

• Requires that beginning with fiscal year 2018-2019, teacher incentive bonuses be funded as separate line items in the general appropriations act and supplemental appropriations acts.

• Appropriates funds from general revenues for fiscal year 2018-2019 to pay charter school teacher bonuses for hard-to-fill school placements and National Board certification incentives.

• Designates the State Public Charter School Commission to expend the appropriated funds for these teacher bonus programs.

• Effective July 1, 2050.
