Requires the Department of Public Safety to provide free feminine hygiene products to all female inmates upon admission and until release upon request.

Requires the Department of Public Safety to provide free feminine hygiene products to female detainees held in custody for at least 48 hours upon request.

Mandates provision of tampons (regular or super size), sanitary napkins with wings (regular or super size), and panty liners (regular) meeting applicable industry standards.

Allows female inmates and detainees to maintain feminine hygiene products within their unit.

Effective July 1, 2018.
