Appropriates $183,818 from general revenues for fiscal years 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 for two specialist II positions within the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (position numbers 69987 and 74675).

Funds a personnel specialist II position and an educational specialist II position that were previously supported by general fund moneys until 2012.

Addresses staffing reductions and office space constraints experienced by the board since 2012 when it relinquished all general funds.

Expresses legislative intent that these positions should be funded as a line item in the executive budget moving forward.

Effective date: July 1, 2060.
