HI HB60

Prohibits all fishing at any time in the Waikiki-Diamond Head shoreline fisheries management area, effective October 1, 2017.

Defines the prohibited fishing zone as submerged lands and overlying waters from the high water mark extending seaward a minimum of 500 yards or to the seaward edge of the fringing reef if it extends beyond 500 yards.

Establishes the western boundary of the prohibited area along the western wall of the Waikiki War Memorial Natatorium and the eastern boundary along the Diamond Head lighthouse.

Makes it unlawful for any person to fish in the designated Waikiki-Diamond Head area at any time.
