Department of Agriculture, in consultation with the Department of Health, shall create and maintain a list of plants and landscaping structures/equipment that serve as preferred mosquito breeding habitats.

Prohibits inclusion of identified mosquito breeding habitats in plans, designs, or specifications for new or renovated landscaping of state or county buildings, facilities, complexes, or parks funded with public moneys.

Requires removal of existing mosquito breeding habitat plants or structures from state and county landscaping no later than June 30, 2095.

Exempts routinely maintained botanical gardens from the landscaping restrictions.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
