Amends Section 346-152.7 to strengthen safe sleep policies for all child care facilities that provide care for children less than one year of age, including family child care homes, group child care centers, group child care homes, and infant and toddler child care centers.

Requires child care facility operators and employees to place infants on their backs for sleeping unless a written waiver is obtained from a health care professional.

Mandates that operators discuss the safe sleep policy with parents or legal guardians before enrollment and obtain their signed acknowledgment of receipt and discussion of the policy.

Requires child care facility operators and employees to complete annual training in safe sleep practices conducted by the Department of Human Services.

Requires child care facilities to promptly report to the department any deaths of children less than one year of age that occur at the facility.
