Increases the guaranteed monthly compensation threshold required to exempt an employee from minimum wage, overtime, and record-keeping requirements by replacing the fixed $2,000 monthly amount with a formula equal to the applicable minimum wage multiplied by 292.

Removes the exemption for golf caddies from Hawaii's wage and hour law.

Removes the exemption for automobile salespersons employed by licensed automobile or truck dealers from Hawaii's wage and hour law.

Renumbers existing employee exemption categories in Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 387-1 to account for the removed exemptions.

Takes effect on July 1, 2017.
