• Removes the sunset date for Chapter 436H (athletic trainers regulation) that was scheduled for June 30, 2018, making athletic trainer regulation permanent.

• Athletic trainers provide injury prevention, treatment, assessment, rehabilitation, emergency medical care, and concussion monitoring services that affect athlete health and safety.

• Current regulation does not impose unreasonable restrictions on entry into the profession or meaningfully increase service costs, according to Auditor Report No. 17-08.

• Renumbers subsequent repeal provisions in Section 26H-4, moving behavior analysts repeal to June 30, 2021, and appraisal management companies repeal to June 30, 2023.

• Takes effect June 29, 2018.
