Increases the fireworks display permit fee from $110 to $300 for aerial devices, display fireworks, and articles pyrotechnic used for public or private events and theatrical or movie purposes.

Maintains existing permit fees of $25 for consumer fireworks (firecrackers) and cultural uses outside prescribed periods.

Cites that the previous $110 fee had remained unchanged for 14 years while administrative costs for processing, reviewing, and approving permits have increased.

Amends Section 132D-10 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to reflect the new fee structure.

Takes effect upon approval.
