• Limits physician-dispensed prescription drugs in workers' compensation claims to the first 30 days from the date of work injury.

• Reduces reimbursement rates for prescription drugs from 140% to 101% of average wholesale price for brand name drugs, generic drugs, and compounded drugs.

• Requires pharmaceutical claims for repackaged, relabeled, or compounded drugs to include the National Drug Code of the original manufacturer.

• Aligns Hawaii's prescription drug reimbursement rates closer to national averages and other progressive workers' compensation states like California and Oregon.

• Takes effect January 1, 2045.
