Excludes lands held by the Hawaii Public Housing Authority in its corporate capacity from the definition of "public lands" under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 171-2.

Adds the Hawaii Public Housing Authority to the list of entities whose lands are not classified as public lands, placing it on equal footing with the University of Hawaii, Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, and Hawaii Community Development Authority.

Corrects the name of the "high technology development corporation" to "Hawaii technology development corporation" in the public lands definition and related statutes.

Requires legislative approval for the sale or gift of lands to which the Hawaii Public Housing Authority holds title in its corporate capacity.

Takes effect upon approval.
