Adds a new section to Chapter 281, Hawaii Revised Statutes prohibiting liquor commissions from adopting or enforcing rules that ban hired stage performers from consuming liquor while performing on stage at licensed premises.

Applies only to hired stage performers who are not otherwise prohibited from consuming liquor by law.

Defines "hired stage performer" as a person hired specifically to perform on stage at a licensed premises for a set period or number of performances who performs no other services for the establishment.

Takes effect upon approval.
