Extends the retention period for condominium association proxies and ballots from thirty days to ninety days after an association meeting before they may be destroyed.

Applies to both Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 514A-83.5 (applies to one type of condominium association) and Section 514B-154 (applies to another type of condominium association).

Requires owners requesting to examine election documents to submit a duly executed and acknowledged affidavit stating the request is made in good faith for protection of association or member interests.

Permits owners to be charged for administrative costs exceeding eight hours per year when requesting to examine or receive copies of proxies, tally sheets, ballots, check-in lists, and certificates of election.

Takes effect upon approval.
