Allows licensed producers of motor vehicle insurers to satisfy the requirement for a complete sales and claims service office in Hawaii, instead of requiring the insurer itself to maintain such an office.

Amends Section 431:10C-119 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to permit licensed producers to establish and maintain a sales and claims office on behalf of insurers.

Modernizes motor vehicle insurance regulations to align with technological advances in insurance distribution and claims handling through mobile devices and internet platforms.

Brings motor vehicle insurance code requirements in line with statutory requirements for other property and casualty insurers in Hawaii.

Takes effect upon approval.
