Adds a new subsection (e) to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 302A-1303.5 requiring the committee on weights to submit a report to the legislature detailing any changes to the education funding formula within thirty days of the change.

The committee on weights is responsible for developing a weighted student formula that determines how education funding is allocated based on student characteristics and needs.

The committee may recommend formula changes to the board of education during reviews conducted in odd-numbered years.

Establishes reporting accountability to ensure the legislature is informed of funding formula modifications in a timely manner.
