Amends the definition of "confidential personal information" in Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 708-800 to eliminate vague provisions and specify what constitutes protected information.

Expands the definition to explicitly include an individual's entire driver's license number, social security number, entire depository/investment/credit account identifying number, and entire credit card number.

Clarifies that a username and password constitute confidential personal information only when used together to provide access to credit card accounts, medical records, or financial accounts.

Removes the previous catch-all language regarding "any other name, number, or code" used to confirm identity.

Takes effect upon approval and does not affect rights, duties, or proceedings that occurred before the effective date.
