Reduces reimbursement rates for prescription drugs under workers' compensation from 140% to 90% of average wholesale price for repackaged, relabeled, and compounded drugs.

Applies the 90% average wholesale price rate to compounded prescription drugs calculated by gram weight of each underlying drug component.

Requires all pharmaceutical claims for repackaged, relabeled, or compounded drugs to include the National Drug Code of the original manufacturer.

Limits physician-dispensed prescription drugs to the first 90 days following the date of injury.

Maintains requirements that equivalent generic drugs substitute for brand name pharmaceuticals unless the prescribing physician certifies medical necessity for non-substitution.
