Requires barbers, beauty operators, and instructors licensed under Hawaii's board of barbering and cosmetology to complete a one-time, three-hour training program on intimate partner violence awareness and education.

Training program must enable licensees to recognize signs of intimate partner violence and provide resources such as referrals to social services or domestic violence organizations.

New applicants must submit evidence of training completion with their license applications; existing licensees must complete training and submit evidence by their next license renewal.

Department shall develop the training program in coordination with a domestic violence intervention program.

Licensed professionals who complete the training are granted civil and criminal immunity for acting in good faith or failing to act on information about potential intimate partner violence encountered during employment.
