Approves the sale of the leased fee interest in 41-1373 Haunaukoi Street, Waimanalo, Hawaii (TMK No. 1-4-1-34-117) by the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation to the current leasehold owner.

Property is a 5,664 square foot single-family home built in 1994 as part of the Waimanalo Village Self Help affordable housing project with an appraised fair market value of $398,200 as of May 9, 2017.

Appraisal was performed by Harlin Young & Co, Ltd., and the leasehold agreement included the right to purchase the leased fee interest in the land.

The parcel was originally Government (Crown) Land of Waimanalo as of August 15, 1895, and was acquired by the Hawaii Housing Authority through Grant No. S-15,415 dated March 15, 1978.

Public informational briefing was held on August 9, 2017, at the Waimanalo Public & School Library with no objections received, and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs was notified on September 29, 2017, as required.
