University of Hawaii is urged to transfer operation and lands of Waialee Livestock Experiment Station to the Agribusiness Development Corporation

Waialee is a 135-acre state-owned animal research and demonstration facility on Oahu's north shore, with approximately 65 acres fenced and 35 acres with irrigation potential

Waialee facilities include office space, slaughterhouse, feed storage, animal housing for pigs, poultry, swine and cattle, grazing pastures, and a waste to biogas demonstration facility

Transfer is intended to further the purposes of the Agribusiness Development Corporation and support Hawaii's agricultural sector as an economic objective

Certified copies must be transmitted to the Governor, University of Hawaii Board of Regents and President, Agribusiness Development Corporation Board and Executive Director, and College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Dean
