Establishes a working group to examine how the Department of Education can maximize Medicaid reimbursement for support services provided to eligible students during school hours.

Working group membership includes the Superintendent of Education, MedQUEST Administrator, MedQUEST health care services representative, Deputy Attorneys General from Department of Human Services and Department of Education, Senate Education Committee Chair (co-chair), House Education Committee Chair (co-chair), and other invited persons.

Working group must convene by August 1, 2018, with first agenda item being an update on Medicaid billing.

Examination must include occupational and physical therapy, speech pathology, applied behavior analysis, and other wellness supports that benefit student learning and growth.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and actions taken to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2019 Regular Session convenes.
