Supports the purchase, preservation, and restoration of agricultural and conservation lands in Maunawili Valley, Oahu, including ancient and historic sites, trails, and waters.

Commends HRT Realty, LLC; Hui Maunawili-Kawainui; and The Trust for Public Land for collaborative efforts toward a possible conservation purchase of HRT Realty's Maunawili lands.

Urges the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Department of Agriculture, City and County of Honolulu, and Hawaii's congressional delegation to work with The Trust for Public Land and Hui Maunawili-Kawainui to acquire agricultural, cultural, and historic lands in Maunawili.

Identifies Maunawili Valley as containing wetlands, freshwater springs feeding Kawainui Marsh (a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance), Hawaii's most fertile Hanalei soil, and numerous cultural and archaeological resources including heiau, petroglyphs, and Hawaiian burial sites.

Aligns land protection efforts with the Governor's goal to double local food production by 2020 and seeks to restore Maunawili's traditional role as a source of fresh water and abundant agriculture within the Kailua ahupua'a.
