Requests the Department of Agriculture to establish a Kauai Invasive Species Task Force to study invasive animal issues and recommend a comprehensive plan to address them.

Task Force membership includes the Board of Agriculture Chairperson (as chair), Board of Land and Natural Resources Chairperson, Kauai County Planning Department representative, Kauai Visitors Bureau representative, and representatives from the Kauai Invasive Species Committee, Humane Society, Hunting Association, and County Farm Bureau.

Task Force is directed to collect data on impacts of invasive animals in Kauai, develop strategies and priorities to address identified issues, and explore value-added opportunities such as using invasive animal meat as a commodity.

Task Force must submit a report with findings, recommendations, comprehensive plan, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2019 Regular Session convenes.
