Urges all policymakers and residents of the City and County of Honolulu to support the Waianae Sustainable Communities Plan and preserve Ohikilolo as open space.

Identifies Ohikilolo on Oahu as containing over 600 acres of former ranchland with 461 documented archaeological sites in just 60 acres, which should be recommended for the National Registry of Historic Places.

Recognizes Ohikilolo as sacred to native Hawaiian families and the Waianae coast community, considered part of Kanehunamoku (sacred lands of Kane) and the birthplace of Lailai in Hawaiian creation tradition.

Notes that Robert Pickering acquired 735 acres in Ohikilolo in 2007 for $3.8 million, with unsuccessful attempts to develop the property as a luxury housing subdivision beginning in 2010, and no building permits have been filed to date.

Directs transmission of certified copies to relevant state and local agencies, including the Board of Land and Natural Resources, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Land Use Commission, State Historic Preservation Division, City and County of Honolulu planning officials, and the Friends of Ohikilolo organization.
