University of Hawaii College of Engineering shall conduct a traffic study examining congestion at the intersection of University Avenue and Dole Street in Honolulu.

Study must include recommendations to alleviate traffic congestion and identify projected costs of implementing those recommendations.

College of Engineering shall submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2020 regular session convenes.

Appropriation of unspecified amount from general revenues for fiscal year 2019-2020 to fund the traffic study.

Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
