Requires all barber licensees to complete a one-time, one-hour training program on intimate partner violence awareness and education, which may be administered electronically.

Requires all beauty operator and instructor licensees to complete the same one-time, one-hour intimate partner violence awareness and education training program.

Training program must enable licensees to recognize signs of intimate partner violence and provide resources such as referrals to social services or domestic violence organizations.

Department of Health shall develop the training program in coordination with a domestic violence intervention program.

Provides hold harmless protection for licensed barbers, beauty operators, and instructors from civil or criminal liability for acting in good faith or failing to act on intimate partner violence information obtained during employment.
