• Maintains the 75% maximum retirement allowance cap for judges and preserves provisions for judges with other credited service (elective officer, legislative officer, or other positions).

• Adds emergency medical technician to the list of positions eligible for no age reduction if they have 25 years of credited service with last 5 years in those capacities and have attained age 55.

• Takes effect upon approval with no impact on rights, duties, or proceedings that began before the effective date.
