H.B. 1526 - State Public Charter Schools Budget

• Appropriates $892,000 in general funds for fiscal year 2019-2020 and $892,000 in general funds for fiscal year 2020-2021 to the Department of Education charter schools program (EDN600).

• Funding allocated for teacher incentive programs addressing hard-to-staff positions and National Board Certification bonuses.

• Allows appropriations made by this Act to be combined with other appropriations to the same program if advantageous for budget execution.

• Permits the Governor to correct manifest clerical, typographical, or mechanical errors found in the Act.

• Effective date: July 1, 2055.
