• Allows workers registered with Hawaii's medical cannabis program to receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket medical cannabis costs through the workers' compensation system.

• Limits reimbursement to amounts specified in the health care provider fee schedule and requires workers to submit itemized receipts from licensed producers under chapter 329D.

• Restricts reimbursement to workers enrolled in the state medical cannabis program with proof of enrollment and qualifying condition prior to purchase.

• Excludes reimbursement for paraphernalia (except pre-filled containers and safe pulmonary administration devices), personal production, and cannabis from unlicensed sources.
