Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes § 378-2.3 to clarify that employers cannot prohibit employees from disclosing wages or discussing wages of other employees.

Adds exception to wage discussion protections: employees with human resources, payroll, or legal professional responsibilities may discuss other employees' wages based on knowledge from their job duties without violating the law.

Prohibits employer retaliation or discrimination against employees for disclosing their own wages, discussing other employees' wages, or helping other employees exercise their wage discussion rights.

Takes effect January 1, 2050.
