HI HB201

Clarifies that authorized agents from state departments, counties, and their employees may enter private property to control or eradicate invasive species identified by the invasive species council without requiring the species to be physically found on the property first.

Permits entry based on reasonable suspicion that invasive species are present on private property, including when presence is due to natural dispersal from neighboring properties or intentional establishment by the owner or tenant.

Requires reasonable notice to be given to the property owner before entry, and allows for court order enforcement if entry is refused.

Explicitly excludes non-prohibited pet animals from this authority, limiting the act's application to invasive species only.
