Requires a disaster preparedness plan to accompany each declaration for any new condominium property regime submitted for recordation after December 31, 2019.

Requires each managing agent for condominium property regimes created before January 1, 2020, to prepare a disaster preparedness plan before January 1, 2020.

Disaster preparedness plans must include safe exit procedures for all persons (including those with impaired mobility, disabilities, or special medical needs), alternative shelter options, provisions for food during extended displacement, and procedures appropriate for different types of disasters.

Managing agents that prepare disaster preparedness plans are granted immunity from suit and liability, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing.

Updates condominium recordation requirements to include the disaster preparedness plan among documents that managing agents must maintain on file.
