Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 521-7 to add a new exemption (14) from the Residential Landlord-Tenant Code for residence or occupancy in structures or property directly controlled, owned, or managed by the Department of Agriculture.

Adds the Department of Agriculture exemption as an additional exclusion to those already listed in the statute, which include university housing, homeless facilities, public housing authority properties, and transitional facilities for abused family members.

Changes the language of Section 521-7(13) from a period to "; or" to properly connect the new subsection (14) to the existing exemptions.

Takes effect on July 1, 2019.
