Clarifies that existing health insurance mandates for low-dose mammography coverage include digital mammography and breast tomosynthesis (3D mammography).

Defines "breast tomosynthesis" as a radiologic procedure using projection images to produce cross-sectional digital three-dimensional images of the breast.

Applies to all health insurance policies issued on or after February 1, 1991, requiring coverage for annual mammograms for women age 40 and older, and mammograms for younger women with personal or family history of breast cancer.

Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes sections 431:10A-116 and 432:1-605(c) to incorporate digital mammography and breast tomosynthesis into the definition of covered low-dose mammography services.

Takes effect July 1, 2019, and sunsets June 30, 2024, at which point prior statutory language is reenacted unless further legislative action occurs.
