Increases the permit fee for aerial devices, display fireworks, and articles pyrotechnic from $110 to $300 under Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 132D-10(2).

The fee increase applies to permits authorizing licensed pyrotechnicians to conduct outdoor and close proximity fireworks displays for public or private events, theatrical, or movie purposes.

The display permit fee had remained unchanged for 16 years despite increases in administrative costs for processing, reviewing, and approving permits.

Maintains existing permit fees of $25 for consumer fireworks and other pyrotechnic uses.

Takes effect on January 1, 2020.
