• Replaces specific dollar amounts for towing fees with blank spaces, indicating the amounts are to be determined (previously: $65 for standard tow, $75 for dolly tow, $7.50 per mile, $25 per day storage for first seven days, $20 per day thereafter, $15 overtime charge, $30 difficult hookup surcharge).

• Clarifies overtime charge eligibility to include tows occurring between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday through Thursday or between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

• Maintains existing requirements for towing companies to notify vehicle owners, provide receipts, accommodate payment by cash and credit card or ATM, and unhook vehicles at no charge if owners appear before towing is complete.

• Takes effect July 1, 2050.
