Exempts qualifying patients under Hawaii's "Our Care, Our Choice Act" (chapter 327L) from the seven-day prescription filling and holding requirement for Schedule II controlled substances, allowing a 30-day holding period instead.

Exempts prescriptions issued to qualifying patients under chapter 327L from the seven-day limitation on initial concurrent prescriptions for opioids and benzodiazepines.

Exempts prescriptions written pursuant to chapter 327L from the requirement that prescribers check the state electronic prescription accountability system before prescribing Schedule II, III, or IV controlled substances.

Excludes qualifying patients under chapter 327L from the definition of "qualifying opioid therapy patient" that triggers informed consent requirements and opioid therapy agreements.

Effective July 1, 2050, with provisions preserving amendments to the prescription filling timeline when certain statutory sections are reenacted.
