Request the Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women to maintain a database on sex trafficking offenses under Hawaii Revised Statutes sections 712-1200(1)(b) and 712-1202.

Database should collect statewide sex trafficking data from governmental agencies and private organizations receiving state funding, with compliance to applicable privacy laws.

Database should track total cases, arrests, prosecutions, convictions, and demographic information including age, sex, gender identity, race, ethnicity, native Hawaiian victims, and immigrant victims.

Attorney General, Judiciary, and county police chiefs and prosecuting attorneys are requested to provide necessary data to the Commission.

Commission must submit annual reports on sex trafficking statistics and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before each Regular Session beginning in 2021.
