Supports the ʻIimiloa Astronomy Center's role in developing and leading educational efforts about cultural, natural, and historic resources on Mauna Kea at Hale Pōhaku (Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station Onizuka Center for International Astronomy).

Encourages transfer of education outreach operations at the University of Hawaiʻi-operated Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station to the ʻIimiloa Astronomy Center.

Recognizes ʻIimiloa's accomplishments including serving over 1 million visitors since 2006, partnering with Hawaiian language programs, supporting Hawaiian voyaging canoes through ʻOhana Waʻa, and collaborating with Mauna Kea Observatories.

Notes ʻIimiloa as the only astronomical science center in the world offering bilingual and bicultural educational experiences honoring Native Hawaiian culture and providing a model for integrated, culture-based science education.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Chancellor, Board of Land and Natural Resources Chair, and various legislative committees and county officials.
