Convenes a Gambling Advisory Group to examine and assess impacts of growing access to online and illegal gambling in Hawaii

Group to be co-chaired by the Chairs of the House and Senate standing committees on Judiciary, and include the Attorney General, Executive Director of the Office of Consumer Protection, Director of Health, a member with public education experience, and other appointed members

Group shall serve without compensation and submit reports with findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the Regular Sessions of 2020 and 2021

Legislative Reference Bureau requested to assist in finalizing reports and drafting proposed legislation, with draft submissions due September 1, 2019, and September 1, 2020

Certified copies to be transmitted to the Governor, Attorney General, Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Executive Director of the Office of Consumer Protection, Director of Health, and Director of the Legislative Reference Bureau
