Request that the Department of Land and Natural Resources establish a Marine Life Conservation District at Hauula Beach Park on Oahu's North Shore to protect the fringing reef and over 400 species of fish and marine life in the area.

Recommend that the conservation district extend seaward for one mile from the shoreline of Hauula Beach Park, as identified by specified TMK numbers, into state marine waters.

Require that rules adopted for the district include protections for Native Hawaiian rights customarily and traditionally exercised for subsistence, cultural, and religious purposes under Article XII, section 7, of the Hawaii State Constitution.

Establish the district as part of the 30x30 Marine Initiative to develop a network of Marine Management Areas protecting the State's nearshore marine resources while ensuring sustainable fishing practices.

Direct transmission of a certified copy of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
