Establishes a Legislative Social Media Task Force to study the use of social media platforms in the legislative process, including recorded broadcasts and live video streaming services such as Facebook Live for testimony and legislative hearings.

Task Force shall study technological feasibility, current IT infrastructure capability, estimated upgrade costs, impacts on existing contracts with Olelo Community Media, associated fees or bandwidth requirements, and potential to increase access for households without cable services.

Task Force composed of the Chief Information Officer of the Office of Enterprise Technology Services (as chair), selected members with IT and communications expertise, and at least one member each appointed by the Senate President and Speaker of the House.

Task Force required to convene within 30 days of resolution adoption and submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2020 Regular Session convening.

Task Force is requested to dissolve on June 30, 2020.
